from the SUV and

Some
Dodge Durango SUVs may
be
equipped
with
a
roof
spoiler
mounted
"flush"
to the
roof
so
that
the
spoiler
can
strike
the
roof
when the tailgate
is
open
Over time,
when
the tailgate
is
opened and closed repeatedly, the spoiler can loosen and eventually detach from the roof.
A spoiler that detaches while driving is recalled as it could pose a hazard to other drivers and road users.
The recall
affects
139,019 Durangos over three model years, including 2023, which will
be
the last
production
year of
the
current
Durango.
In the final year of this generation Durango, the 2023 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat returns with a 710-hp supercharged V8 and a rear spoiler.
